Reproduction of Louis XVI furniture (sofa and armchairs) for the Legion of Honor Museum, San Francisco, California.
What we did on this project
For this project, we did the sculpture on the sofa and armchairs.
We started with one original armchair as a model and recreated the replicated armchairs and created the sofa.
Youri Dmitrenko, French master gilder, restored the original seat.
Jacques Goujon, French master gilder too, applied the gold leafs on the reproduced pieces.
This project was a 18-Month restoration.
